Bookkeeper
Employment Opportunity
We are seeking an energetic, self-starter to work part-time (2 days per week).
Responsiblities:
- Preparation and management of budgets
-
Invoicing and billing
-
Payroll preparation and maintenance
-
Audit preparation
-
Attend and report at board meetings as needed
-
Monthly, quarterly and yearly reports
-
Benefits coordination
-
Work closely with Executive Director, Director of Operations and Program Managers
Qualifications:
- A degree or diploma or certification in Finance/Business/Accounting or related field
-
Extensive experience may off-set academic standing
-
Superior organizational skills
-
A minimum three years of direct experience
-
Strong interpersonal/communication skills
-
Excellent computer literacy skills, including databases, MS Office and internet
-
Experience with Visual Grasp an asset
-
Extensive knowledge of computerized accounting systems
