Employment Assistance Services The John Howard Society of Kingston and District offers employment assistance on a drop‑in basis. This service is provided free of charge. Intake & Outreach Assistance The John Howard Society of Kingston & District offers pre- and post- release assistance throughout the transition from prison to community. Institutional Services The John Howard Society of Kingston and District provides counseling and advocacy to individuals imprisoned in local area prisons. Volunteer Program Volunteers are active in all our programs, and positions are generally available in most roles within our Society. Equi-Pass As of April 2010, JHS Kingston is no longer the provider of this service.  We were unable to come to an agreement with the license holder, Oasis.  We cannot create any new accounts at this time.  We will seek out other opportunites to bring affordable online learning tools and will post updates here on this site.   We apologise for any inconvenience.
